1. Application and Surface Purpose

The P80 grit abrasive disc is a key tool in the medium-roughing stage. It is mainly designed for leveling applied polyester putties, smoothing out deeper scratches left by P40/P60 grits, and for blending and leveling transitions on old paint coatings.

Ideally suited for working on the following substrates:

  • Fillers: Polyester putties (shaping and finishing of the roughing stage).
  • Coatings and paints: Old paint coatings, primers, and transition zones.
  • Laminates and metals: Fiberglass, gelcoats, as well as raw and primed metal and wood.
