Kovax Yellow Film Sanding Disc 152mm P1500

Product code: 193-1561 | Size: 152mm | Series: Yellow Film | Grit: K1500 (P1500)

Why choose the Kovax Yellow Film series?

• Polyester film backing: Unlike traditional paper, the film is extremely tear-resistant and does not deform, ensuring a perfectly flat sanding surface without the risk of "grain migration."

• Perfect removal of inclusions: P1500 grit on film is ruthless against fine dust nibs and runs, while remaining safe for the clear coat thickness.

• Dry sanding: The absence of water allows for immediate inspection of the sanded surface, which significantly speeds up work and prevents painting errors.

• Long service life: Thanks to a special anti-clogging coating, one disc lasts for a significantly larger surface area than standard abrasives.

Application and surfaces

The K1500 grit disc (Yellow Film) is a key element of the paint finishing process. It is ideal for:

• removing "orange peel" and fine inclusions (dust) after painting,

• leveling paint transitions during blending,

• preparing surfaces for finishing grits (Tolex / Buflex),

• matting hard clear coats and restoring headlight lenses.

Storage instructions

• Store in a dry and clean place – fine contaminants on the disc can ruin the work result.

• Protect from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

• Recommended temperature: 10-30°C.

Occupational health and safety

• Respiratory protection: Strictly use a dust mask or a dust extraction system.

• Sanding system: For maximum flatness, use with a hard backing pad; use a soft interface pad near edges.

• Note: Keep out of reach of children. Product for professional automotive refinishing use only.
