Würth Polishing Sponge Soft – Orange 145 mm

Color: Orange | Hardness grade: Soft (Finishing) | Diameter: 145 mm | Structure: Grooved (Spider web)

Excellent finish and mirror shine

The orange Würth polishing sponge is a specialized tool for the finishing stage. Thanks to its unique grooved spider web structure, this sponge allows you to achieve a perfect surface:

• Effective hologram removal: The soft foam structure, combined with finishing compounds, instantly eliminates streaks and circular scratches (holograms).

• Maximum gloss: Ideal for the final enhancement of color depth, especially on dark and demanding paintwork.

• Minimal material consumption: The grooved surface allows for even distribution of polish or wax, which increases the efficiency of polishing products.

Advanced cooling and coating protection

The sponge is made of the highest quality open-cell foam, which, combined with intelligent geometry, ensures:

• Optimal heat dissipation: The open-cell structure prevents the paint from heating up during prolonged polishing, which is crucial for the safety of delicate coatings.

• Consistent finish quality: The foam retains its softness and flexibility throughout the entire polishing process, ensuring harmonious results on every panel.

• Long service life: Resistance to clogging with residue allows the pad to be used multiple times while maintaining its properties.

Ergonomics and precision

• Rounded edges: Thanks to its intelligent geometry, the sponge smoothly adapts to the curves and contours of the car body, preventing new scratches when working on curved surfaces.

• Centering hole: The 145 mm size features a central hole that allows for quick and perfect centering on the machine, guaranteeing stable, vibration-free operation.

• Convenient handling: Beveled Velcro edges allow for easy and safe removal of the sponge from the backing pad.

Application area in the Würth system

The orange sponge completes the professional polishing process:

1. Green (Very hard): Aggressive cutting and removal of deep scratches.

2. Blue (Medium hard): Removal of medium scratches and surface preparation.

3. Orange (Soft): Final finish, hologram removal, and gloss enhancement.
