1. Application and Surface Purpose

The Kovax Bufflex Dry K-3000 sanding disc is a unique micro-abrasive material on a soft, flexible backing, developed for preparing paint coatings directly before polishing. It combines the efficiency of dry sanding with a velvet-smooth finish, removing fine scratches from previous steps (K-1500 / P2000) without the risk of burning through the clear coat.

Perfectly suited for the following applications:

  • Reduction of sanding scratches: Quick and safe smoothing of scratches left by Tolex K-1500 materials and P1500-P2000 papers.
  • Clear coat finishing: Provides exceptionally uniform matting, reducing the appearance of haze and swirl marks.
  • Working on contours and edges: The flexible foam backing prevents localized burn-through on edges.
