VOKE Technical Acetone – Aggressive Organic Solvent

VOKE high-quality technical acetone is an extremely aggressive and effective organic solvent with a wide range of applications in painting, automotive, construction, and heavy industry. It is characterized by a very fast evaporation time and maximum strength, allowing it to instantly handle the toughest stains that traditional cleaners and gasolines cannot cope with.

The product is indispensable for specialized preparatory work, cleaning professional application equipment, and deep degreasing of surfaces before gluing or painting (only on substrates showing full chemical resistance to pure acetone).

Main applications:

• Cleaning and washing tools: Instantly removes fresh residues of acrylic lacquers, paints, polyester and epoxy resins, polyurethanes, and adhesives from spray guns, brushes, putty knives, and machinery.
• Dissolving and thinning: Dedicated to nitrocellulose (nitro) and acetylcellulose products, as well as for thinning certain sealing compounds, soundproofing compounds, and specialized adhesives.
• Deep degreasing: Extremely effective at removing greases, oils, silicones, and waxes from raw metal surfaces (steel, cast iron) before further mechanical or thermal treatment.
• Workshop and renovation work: Essential for removing certain old paint coatings, controlled softening of plastics, and cleaning off stubborn residues from mounting tapes, adhesives, and stickers.

Notes on usage and application:

Due to the very high chemical aggressiveness of acetone, before using it on surfaces made of plastics, rubber, or sensitive old paint coatings, a test must be performed in an inconspicuous area to avoid accidental matting, dissolving, or damage to the material structure.

Storage and OHS instructions

Storage: The preparation must be stored only in tightly sealed original containers. Store in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated room. Absolutely protect from direct sunlight, heat sources, sparks, open flames, and electrostatic discharges (highly evaporating and flammable product).

Safety (OHS): Liquid and its vapors are highly flammable. Vapors are irritating to the eyes and may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Effective ventilation of the workstation is required during application. Use personal protective equipment: safety goggles, a mask with a gas absorber, and protective gloves (e.g., butyl, as traditional nitrile gloves can be quickly dissolved by acetone).
